Well maybe DJ is too big a word, but you get the idea. I just got word from the awesome people at Beatport.com that I can distribute the DJ sets I create from the tracks that I purchase. That is great news, now everyone can indulge in the beautiful masterpieces I create in my spear time! There I go again with the fancy words... Masterpieces...? I don't know about that, but the sets are defiantly worth a listen if you are into Soft / Jazzy / sometimes Techy House. You can either listen to it here or feel free to download and listen to it on your iPod, its free.

I really love all types of music. I know it is a cliche to say, but with me it is really true. I grew up as a child listening to classical music, Johann Strauss II was my favorite composer, not sure why to be honest. At one point I even played the violin, but mind you I was no Itzhak Perlman, I was pretty awful. As time went by, and I grew older, I learned to love all types of genres, from Chet Baker to Metallica, Radiohead to Johnny Cash. My friend Rotem and I use to even jam together and record tunes then mix them up on Reason / Cubase. Maybe I will upload those old tracks in a different post.

My love with mixing House music was born a few years ago. I like listening to beats without any complex melodies or lyrics when I work on the computer, it helps me get into a nice rhythm. The only problem with that is you tend to listen to the same thing over and over again, which can become really annoying, so I decided to create my own tunes. I like to think of them as a "mixtape" of the eighties but with a modern twist.

To make a long story short, here are 2 sets I have created. Let me know what you think!
